I have a 1993 GS 300 and the alt. needs to be replaced. Due to the current economy I have do this procedure myself. Any hints, tips, advice would be great. I'm pretty good on oil changes and minor stuff like that. I do have knowledge though, just can't seem to put it together with the motor skillz...lol Thanks idgod1 Burtonsville ,Md

I have a 93 on 18 with 245/45/18. I live in Maryland and driving over bumps and potholes is a normal thing. I fly over them and my buddies are blowing tires and cracking rims. LoL The car rides a lil stiffer but handles like a dream.

hey dave, i have a 93 GS 300 and I;m running 18 in wheels. I put a set of 245/45/18 to give the car mre tire from the rim to the ground. i cruise over potole and other bump my buddies don't with their 235/40s or 245/40. Just my two cents, plus the car handles great! if you know anyone looking i have a tranny for sale, needs repair but it's cheap! check your cat convertors. a clogged cat will rob power from batt and car.

check you cat converter, I have a 93 and the car started up fine one morning and died about 2 mile from my house. Come to find out that the left cat was clogged robbing the engine/battery of power. idgod1

what part is the regulator? the motor or switch? Thanks Again!

Hey People, I have a 93 GS 300 and the passenger side read window will not go up. I hear the motor working but windows doesn't move. I took off the door panel and found a half moon looking white plastic piese loose. The cable that moves the window is very loose. Has anyone ever had this problem before? If so is it a easy fix/cheap fix? Also, is there anyone in the Marylans area off the list that would be interested in making a few bucks and fixing it for me? Any help would be great! Thanks Darren

My 93 GS 300 has 224,000 miles the only problem so far is a broken crank pulley.
