I never like OEM navi units so I opted not to pay $2000 as a dealer option on 2002 Lexus ES300 so I installed Pioneer navi unit. Much better got it bypased and you can watch DVD movies on it plus XM radio and bluetooth option.

I just installed Pioneer Avic-D3 in my 2002 ES300 and everything looks factory but the only problem I had is that installer told me that there is NO DIMMER WIRE ON Metra TYTO-01 is that true??? Now when I turn headlights at night my screen still stays bright what to do?????? thank you.

I plan on doing an oil change myself and I plan on switching to sythetic for the first time. The car is 2002 Lexus ES with 29K miles. Is it safe to switch on sythetic with that age and miles???? Also I live in Chicago and plan on going with MOBIL EP full sythetic 5W-30. Is 5W-30 good for this type of car????? I will go with OEM oil filter please respond thank you.

Here is the story. My car comes with stock 6CD in dash radio. I just bought factory double din navigation trim and plan on getting Pioneer FH900BT double din navigation. Is this install possible? Do they fit in the dash or do they make kit to properly fit in there??? Do they make harness to isntall it?? I went to audio place and they will let me know if they make harness for it. I so want to do that setup. ANYONE ISTALLED AFTERMARKET NAVIGATION IN THEIR 2002+ ES300?????????? Do you have picture of it???? Thank you.

I will do drain and fill on my 2002 LExus ES what fluid should I use car has 27000 miles. I have 1993 Lexus GS300 and I use T-IV on drain and fill and car has 230 000 miles now should I use T-IV on 2002 Lexus ES300 thank you.

How can we know what goes wrong after 100K miles on ES330 engine when that engine got out in 2004 and probably most of us never got to that mileage so far.

No fluid in transmission would not make car not start because starting has nothing to do with transmission. Depends if you are trying to put car in "D" and try to accdelerate it would not move now if you were in driving range motion and no fluid I assume transmission would lock up.

Yes it is low beam in first generation GS (1993-1997). The second generation (1998-2005) did not have projectors :( :( but they are back in third generation 2006- :) :)

I just bought 2002 Lexus ES300 with 26000 miles for 13K. It is one owner grandpa owned services regularly at local lexus dealer and look like new heck it still has plastic on most floors. Did i pay too much for it? Any info and pictures on custom OEM wood dash instal kit
