I am in Canada and I am considering a purchase of a Canadian 1999 RX300 with about 132k km (82k miles) on it. This thread on transmission problem of course concerns me and so I am curious; how many 'problem' RX300s are there in Canada and is it the same vehicle - or are the problems possibly only occuring in the US version? The reason why I am wondering about that is that I found a UK RX300 discussion list and there was no mention of any transmission problems at all. Thank you.
