Hi guys, Pardon my slow-learning and lack of car-detailing knowledge, but what is JW AG? I'd also like to know what to use to clean the car between washes. Also, how to keep it clean when it's impossible to bring the hose out in the cold winter days of Connecticut. Many thanks!!

What about Madico? Anybody knows whether it's as good as Llumar or 3M because the place recommended by my clear bra installer does not carry the other two? Thx!

Thank you all for the information! I know Llumar and 3M make good window films, but Tint Master, the place recommended by my clear bra installer to get my IS' windows tinted, only carries the Madico film. Does anybody know how good it is comparing to the other two? Thx!

Great thanks! I've been trying to read all the postings that interest me in this forum, but I didn't see whether anybody talked about the excessive brake dust on the IS front wheels (?) Anybody got any tips on how to reduce it?

You guys are all great! I hope you don't mind if I need some clarification... What should I do after each trip or a ride in the rain? Leave my car alone until the next weekly/every-2-week wash or spot clean it with a wet towel to get rid of bugs/tar/soil? Also, what's the best way to remove the brake dust which seems to be particularly excessive on the IS front wheels? Currently, I wax the wheels after washing the car and clean them with a glass cleaner after every trip. Thx!

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum. Can somebody please explain to me the purpose of claying the car? Also, would cleaning then waxing the car be enough? And how do you clean the car after every trip or after a ride in the rain? Can I just remove the bugs and grimes using a liquid wax? I appreciate any comments or suggestions regarding these many questions.

I would do it every 3 to 5 months. I doubt very highly it will last that long. SG is good but lacks in some areas (depth etc). I would get some nuba (ex: Natty's Blue or maybe Collinite 825) on it and then maybe some QD (for some pop).QD would be like Clearkots is good, FK425, Poorboys S&G, Chemical Guys (many), ............ I see a lot of cars with bubbles on their tinted windows. Is that inevitable, bubbles always pop up after a few years? Thanks,
