We had an ML320 and gladly returned it after the lease was up. It drove great, looked nice, but there were all these pesky problems that kept happening. Windows that would not close, or moon roof that was stuck, or my favorite the machine gun door locks. Ours was a 2000MY so it was the second generation and we had it for 5 years. Now just picked up a GX470 with sport package and so far we are happy :D It arrived at the dealership on Wednesday so hopefully that clunking thing was already taken care of at the factory I would avoid the MB like the plague, CR customer evals show that the MB are totally failing in the quality standards.
