Move to Atlanta and you won't have these brake problems! I have three Lexus cars here in Atlanta and we have had no problems. I lived in Beverly, MA for two years several years ago and had several brake problems but these were on a Porsche. Richard

I have two 1999 Lexus RX 300 models. The first I bought with 95,000 miles on it and the second 99 had 75,000 miles. Both have been excellent. There have been a few minor problems but you should have no problem with a 2001. These cars last a long, long time. Good Luck! Richard
