  1. Any reply yet? I'm in the same boat with my 2005.
  2. I have a Verizon wireless phone, and it's a royal pain to integrate with the SC's bluetooth. While it does 'work', you can't upload your phone book, and you have to enter every single number manually. Too, for reasons known only to the digital demons that roam the cyber-ether, despite my Verizon phone being less than two feet away from the display screen (nestled in the cup holder) the thing disconnects repeatedly, and will not reconnect until I restart the car. Put simply, from my experience, if you plan to use hands-free a good deal of the time to make a good deal of your calls, Verizon is a bad deal indeed. mmg Thanks. That's what I was afraid of.
  3. I've heard over the years that Verizon service is incompatible, or near-incompatible, with the SC430's bluetooth capability. The dealer has told me Cingular works perfectly, Sprint (which I have) decently, and Verizon not well at all. I had to borrow someone's Cingular phone to input phone numbers into my car phone address book, but did manage to thereby bypass my Sprint phone's inability to do that. I'm now thinking about switching carriers to Verizon and purchasing a Blackberry, but won't/can't if it won't work with my SC430's bluetooth. Any information? Thanks.
  4. Thanks, I'll give it a shot and let you know if it works. If so, you're a genius.
  5. Thanks for the download information. Do you have any advice/tips for transferring phone numbers from a Smartphone (specifically, an Audiovoxx PPC-6600) (Sprint is my carrier)?
  6. Did you ever get a reply/answer? I have a PDA Bluetooth phone (Audiovoxx PPC-6600) using Outlook 2003 (Sprint service). When I transfer phone numbers, only the name transfers, and is "grayed-out" (inactive). I'm aware there are Verizon incompatibilities with the Lexus phones. However, my Lexus dealer was able to successfully transfer numbers using his phone with Cingular service. Back at my office I tried using a friend's PDA Smartphone with Outlook 2003 and Cingular service. However, I then got the same problem as you -- the name transferred, but phone numbers were replaced with vertical bars. Is the problem that the phone numbers are being pulled from Outlook Contacts? Help from anyone would be appreciated. My dealership, my IT department and I have been working to fix this, unsuccessfully, for eight months.
