  1. Are you checking the level when it is hot and running? I believe this is required for a proper level reading.
  2. Well, not exactly. You can go back without hurting anything. I do not know why you would want to, but you can. Rush, I just asked Pat Goss today on this. You set me thinking. Check out: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/artic...-2003Aug11.html Cheers!
  3. I use mobil1, as well. Pat Goss (Motor Week Car God on PBS) recommends it as the best thing you can do for your car. That was enough for me. I use a lexus/toyota filter. Keep with the OEM. JMHO
  4. Thanks sarcilla, but I am looking for a little newer and a lot less miles ;) . Anyone else?
  5. Any hints on a GS 300 in he DC area? I have an Acura TL-S that I am not comfortable with and drove a GS this weekend - CASE CLOSED. I really like the car. Now, I need to find a good source. I drove a 99 GS 300 w/40k miles on it (green - just want I am looking for) at CarMax. BUT it had rust in the engine compartment (must have been driven in the North, or sitting near a beach.) :o Too bad, I would be a GS owner today :P As you all know, there are few available. I am looking for a 1999-2001 Green/tan. Any ideas?
