  1. Okay, went to the local Lexus Dealer yesterday, after tearing into the dash and other parts of the car, they found a connector in the trunk (left side) sitting in water that was collecting in the bottom of the LHS of the trunk. They recommended replacement of the wire harness ($1500 including labor). The car is put back together and runs fine with the connector unplugged. In fact I'm not sure yet what the conector powers... Water is drained out of the wheel wells (drilled holes in the botton to preclude more collection of water). I'll probably bypass to connector as the permanent fix. Thanks all for the help and direction. Bryan
  2. Door Switches are operating correctly (dome light turns on and off with the door opening and closing or when the push pins are pushed). Yes, alarm is set via all methods and the alarm goes off (sounds) after about two minutes. Tonight I noticed there seems to be a paracitic (spelling) current draw associated withthe dash indicators. I arrived home after dark and when i turned the key/engine off the oil can symbol was faintly lit. Other dash indicators seemed to glow faintly also. Is the alarm sensing this current draw and thinking the car is being hot wired or an attempt to be stolen?
  3. Nope, just the factory theft system. Bryan
  4. 92 SC 400, factory theft deterent system arms correctly (red light on solid for 30 sec then flashes). Within a few minutes the alarm will "go off". Horn honking, head lights flashing. All doors and windows are shut, trunk and hood are closed. Any idea as to why the alarm is going off? Thanks Bryan
