  1. I am sure this subject has been covered in the past but when I read that another member had thread problems,I thought I should tell my story, I have only had my 95 sc400 for 3 weeks, have had and worked on many sports cars. My car has 118000 miles and I believe this is the first time the filter has been changed. The furrel nuts broke loose normally but quickly got tight again, the gas would not stop running out and the only way I got it back together was with a 14 mm line wrench, and a good pair of vise grips, I was using a toyota filter, lost about 1.5 gallons of gas.
  2. Forced air tech. makes a supercharger good for 400hp, their website is currently offline, there is some info. on intellexual.net.
  3. I have always cosidered NADA the authority as does my bank, just my opinion if you could buy the car for between 8000. and 11000. it just depends on how bad the owner needs to sell.
  4. I am looking in the owners manual at recommended oil viscosities, and am a little confused, the oil filler cap says 5w30 but I am normally driving this car in temps. between 40 and 110 degrees should I use 10w30 instead, shurly this engine prefers one or the other at 118000 miles. Also where is the best place to get the type T-II TRANS. FLUID. Thanks
  5. :) Thanks for the fast reply the trans. code was right where you said.
  6. I called 3 auto parts stores for a trans. filter and gasket, only one of them asked what type of trans. I had and said there were 2 different ones on a 95 sc400, wondering how I can verify.
