I am trying to get paint protection on my IS350 but I don't know which kind of film should I put on my black IS. Dealer is recommended Venture Tape or Llumar over Avery or 3M on the BLACK IS350. I like to know if anyone here has tried any of this on black Lexus? Thank you. Can I ask dealer to put the film all over the hood? because xpel only has the part for the hood but not entire hood I wonder why don't they have film over the entire hood? I hope anyone here can help me thank you.

From what I've seen, most are paying $600 to $700 for that kind of job. Labor is included. The price you have seems to be in line. I was quoted $650 and then talked with the guy at Stone-X that actually does it for the dealer. He told me that it's NOT for a "full warp". For $650, I get the hood, front fenders, door handle backing plates and trunk opening backing plate (fingernail scratches). These are not pre cut. They actually remove the grill and wrap it around the sides and cut. It does NOT include the front valance, pillars, headlights, foglights, etc. I plan to wait until I'm informed of my IS coming in and then I'll go down and talk about the cost of the "full wrap". Another local IS owner told me that he had issues with this dealer not only with the clear bra (redone 3 times), but also with the tint installation. I'll get the issues resolved prior to giving them the go ahead or I'll take it to a local, highly recommended clear bra and tint specialist. :o my dealer offered it for 649 and I negotiated 100 off. its for the front minus headlights but the salesman said he would try to get the mirrors and headlights included for no charge. So you actually paid for $550 for everything? Where did you get your clear bra installed? I would get one if I can get everything done around $550.

I like to know if anyone here has done the xpel clear bra paint job on their IS350? I like to get Hood, Fender and Mirror Kit -> ($249.95) Bumper and Lower Bumper Kit -> ($319.95) Headlamp and Fog Lamp Kit (Blue) -> ($83.94) I wonder if we have to pay the full retail price with labor or we might be able to get some discounts from the local dealer?

Everytime I click upload the phone book it always disconnect my phone and nothing would happen. I have Razer V3c from Verizon and sales told me Verizon disable the upload function, is that true? Can anyone help here? Thank you. Justin

I think you will find that Lexus/Toyota will not think it is a "problem". Apparently according to the other threads discussing this sound....it is the normal sound of direct injectors. do what the rest of us do, turn up the stereo. steviej Thanks Steve but I really wish they could somehow reduce the noise by putting something over :P.

rap03, I tried that couple days ago but it can only change the destination while you are driving. Can't dial any number tho. If you find any soft fix please let me know thank you.

If you look around, you'll find that this has come up in a few previous posts as well. It's the sound of the direct injectors. It's normal. :) Do you know if Lexus is aware of the problem? Because they don't seem to know the problem at all and I expect to drive a car without a noise when it's completely stop :(.

I been hearing the tickling noise when I sit in my car when the car is completely stopped or under 5mph. Has anyone experience the same problem? I asked the sales who sold me the car and they told me they don't have any complain so far I wonder if I am too sensitive.

I have seem people modify the wires behind the navigation but I like to know if there is other way to go around it so we can watch DVD, dial number, change destination, and play mp3 without stoping the car? Also trying to find out if we can custom the driver seat so when you enter and exit the car it will move back so it's easier to step out the car. Merceses E320 hsa this feature but so far IS350 only has the wheel that moves away.

I dont have it He's talking about IS300. my bad but IS350 also has little tickling noise from the hood.

5.3 from the Lexus but sales told me it could actually do 5.1. But I think 5.3 is fast enough :).

I picked black/black because it looks really cool :P but hard to take care (exterior).

Have you tried to call the sales rep and ask? I think I might do that this weekend.

I only have the clicking noise when my car is stopped or moving forward under 5mph. I just called Lexus today to find out if they can fix this problem but they said they never heard any problem with the noise. I used to drive MB E320 and it had the same noise but it was the air compression noise so it's total different than Lexus I think.

I have no problem to get IS350 but I waited about 1 week for black/black w/ luxury pkg + navi/levinson + accessory pkg + spoiler. If you don't care about color much you should be able to get it right away. Good luck.

That is how I got them to let me charge $7,500. I told them that I wanted to charge the whole purchase. When they said 5,000 was the most I could do I complained, I said that I was going to put at least 7,500 down on the card or I would just leave. They took the $7,500... The cash back bonus was nice! nice. It was too late for me because I wasn't thinking about the credit card when I purchased my car. They told me the check has been deposited but I have not see the amount been pulled from my bank. I should have negotiate about the credit card payment :(. Thanks guys I will be careful next time.

I was told the max was $5,000. But I got them to alow $7,500 when I bought mine. :D Damn that's nice. They told me I can only pay with max of $500.

Does anyone here knows how much will Lexus allow buyer to pay with the credit card? When I purchased my Honda they allowed me to charge $2500 from the credit card. Thanks. p.s.
