  1. Thats part of the problem. The brakes do go to the floor.
  2. I had my valentine hardwired into the same spot on my BMW. I'm going to do the same thing this weekend on the GS if possible. I'll let you know what I find.
  3. This is one of the wheels I'm considering. What do I need to know about the tire pressure monitoring system and if it will work with this wheel? The factory offset is 45mm and this one is 40mm but tirerack says if they list the wheel for my car it will work. Wheel is an OZ Superturismo GT. I was thinking about the Goodyear F1's in 245/40/18
  4. I have read that going with a larger diameter wheel should only be done to accomidate larger brakes as long as handling is the primary consideration. Is this true? Which size will give me the best handling? Thanks
  5. Thanks for the help. At least I don't have a problem
  6. Spongy in the sense that you can easily push the pedal all the way to the floor when at a dead stop. Some might call this a soft pedal.
  7. I just leased a new 2006 GS. So far I love the car except for the brakes. The brakes work well even at full antilock but the pedal seems spongy and low at times. Is this normal (I hope not) or do I have a problem. I'm just turned my BMW 530i back in from it's lease and the brakes were superb. Firm pedal right from the top and ofcourse very powerful. Overall I like the Lexus better than the BMW but they are just entirely different cars. Thanks for any comments or help anyone can give.
