  1. I'd like to change my old gold Lexus emblems, specifically on the rear of the car. Does anyone know if they're attached by screws? How do they come off? I'd like to purchase 3 new emblems: the logo emblem, the "Lexus" emblem and I'm going to also purchase th "V8" emblem, all from Lextacy.com. Has anyone ever purchased emblems from here? I know that they come with the 3M tape as fasteners. Is that what is holding my current original emblems on? Also, I'm finding it hard to replace my gold grille (with the chrome horizontal lines inside behind the gold "L" emblem. Anyone know where I can purchase one for a descent price? Any help would be appreciated.

  2. :cheers: Alright i haven't checked to see if the bulbs are any good or not yet, but i don't suspect they are. So with that being said does anyone know how to make the fog lights on my 94 turn on because i sure don't......thanks, and go east on me because this is coming from the guy that can rebuild an engine but couldn't figure out why his rear ac vents didn't work(because the little switch was off). I think it's probably ADD related. And on that note did any one hear about Osama's cousin buying 12 international airports? Bush said the paper work must have had an approval stamp accidentally fall on it before it fell behind his desk and could give it to congress.......feels good to be back!!! :cheers:

    My 91 has the fog light switch right next to the headlightswitch on the sterring column. I didn't think they changed much between 90 and 94?..?

    What's up with Bush and the UAE? Something's going on here.... :chairshot:

  3. I have a 91LS400 Automatic. It seems that when the car is somewhat cold, after it sits for over 3 hours, while putting it into reverse, it almost seems like it is hard to shift. Does anyone else have this problem?

    Also, is it normal for the car to idle at 1200-1300 when starting up? That's when the shift into reverse issue comes into play. I do notice that if the car sits for 5-7 minutes after starting it, the RPM's go down to 600 or so and engaging reverse is "smoother."

    I checked my tran fluid and it seems fine. So I do a flush and change the filter/gaskets?

  4. I, too, have the radiator indicator light come on, but only when the engine's cold (after each start up) and it stays on for about 1-2 minutes. I was wondering if this is normal or not. That was one of my concerns when I first purchased my 91 LS400 3 weeks ago. It does go off and doesn't come back on until the next cold start up. I'm assuming it has to do with the cold weather because I hadn't had the chance to start the car in weather above 45 degrees.

    Anyone know if this is normal?

  5. let me know if you can pick up any of these 3 parts:

    the plastic bezel surrounding the gear selector shifter handle, it's all one piece (learned that the hard way trying to disassemble my center console!)

    rear passenger side door weatherstrip, the actual weatherstrip on the inside edge of the door itself

    an original positive battery terminal clamp, the one down there might be corroded, but it should clean up nicely with a little media blast

    Do you know what the Gear Selector Shifter Handle looks like? Color? Shape? If it is good condition, could you let me know next steps?
