  1. Go with the Michelin PS2's. I just now put the second set on after 35,000 miles on the first set. My OEM yokohamas got only 18,000 outta them. THey are quiet, smooth and very predictable in the rain. Excellent tire! you won't be sorry with these. I drive very hard on them as well.
  2. I decided to combine my questions into one post to save space. I have an 06 Gs 430 that up until recently has been running flawless. Lately the car bogs down a lot. Especially when turning and then accelerating out of a turn. I always run shell or exxon 93 octane. I took it in to Lexus and they reset the computer which made it a little better. What takes away all the bogging down is shutting off the A/C. Is it possible that the compressor could be going bad and seizing up? Blows cold air just fine though? Next question is I want to put 20" wheels on. 20X10 in back and 20X9 in the front. Is there anything special that has to be done to the electronics in the car due to the different size wheel? I know the tire presssure monitors will jack up if the right size tire is on. And what offset is the best to use to avoid modifying the wheel well? Thanks in advance for your help
  3. Go to soundgate.com Order the Lexpod adapter. You retain all of the factory functions on the steering wheel and dash. Charges your ipod, excellent sound, easy to use, displays songs on the navigation screen. Top notch product!
  4. I did the mod in about 30 min. Your instructions were good with the help of pics. I soldered and used heat shrink on all connections and would recommend this to others. I only wish it allowed you to enter destinations while driving. Thanks for the info! OK, thanks for the info guys. Just a couple of dumb questions. When connecting(rerouting) the Purple VSS(in) to Pink VSS(out) you mention to solder these connections. Would simply capping work fine? Also, when grounding the monitor side yellow #23, is it ok to just connect to an existing screw? I haven't looked inside yet so don't know what all the grounding options are. Thanks for your help. There is a bracket with two phillips screws on top of the nav unit. I just grounded mine there. Like others have already posted, there really isn't a need for it, but it won't hurt anything if you do grund it
