  1. Don't forget to adjust your trunk tension after adding the spoiler. The additional weight from the spoiler has to be counter balanced. Good luck!
  2. Has anyone put L-tuned sway bars on their GS? If so, how much did it improve the performance and did it affect the smoothness of the the ride? It's an expensive mod so I want to make sure it's worth it. Thanks
  3. If you can afford the car and maintenance, I'd pick the cls. Of course, you can't beat the reliability and service from a lexus.
  4. Keep up the good work. The car looks great! I can tell you're as passionate about your car as the rest of us are about ours.
  5. chuckb, I gotta get those rims! The coilovers sound like a good way to go.
  6. Chuckb, Those 18's look hot! How much did your ride quality change from the old 17's? I bet the improved handling is well worth a few bumps.
  7. ChuckB, How's the overall ride since you switched rims and tires? It's lookin shhweeet!! Must handle like a dream.
  8. I just spoke with a parts guy(at a Lexus dealer) yesterday and he said there's a chip inside the key that has to be programmed to the car. Cutting a blank won't start the car. Don't know if he was blowing smoke but from the sounds of it, we're stuck using the Lexus dealer for new keys.
  9. Good info....I'm coming up on my 90k soon. I'm the second owner so I'd like to see the maintenance records. Must be nice to know your car was serviced on a regular basis.
  10. Thanks for the tip. Looks like you've done some work on your GS430. Lookin sharp!
  11. I have an untouched 2001 GS430 that's ready for some mods. I'm thinking about L-tuned steering ecu and sway bars for starters. I'm happy with the power for now but would like to improve the overall feel of the car on mountain roads. Thanks for your suggestions.
