99 LX470 Rear running lights - I cannot figure out how to change the bulb - It is in the door that opens and flips down. The light does come on with the brakes though. Should I try to remove the inner fabric cover? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Is there an easy way to replace the low beam bulb? I cannot get to the left side bulb because of wires and other obstructions. The right side comes out easily. It seems I would have to disconnect all the wiring, etc in the way to access the bulb with my fingers. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks!

To the experts: Is there anything I need to know before I put some oil on my squeaky pulleys? I intend to change the serpentine belt if the squeaking does not stop after lubing the pulleys. just regular motor oil/lubricant? Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks!

01 GS300 with 61K. no problems

I have 77K on my truck. Original set of brakes. They were at 50% at 75K service. I am quite conservative with my driving, braking. I have just noticed a squeak from one side while reversing (and not applying brakes). I am going to have a mechanic look at them soon. Lexus quoted me around $1000 for replacement. So I bought OEM pads (Denso) for $90 total and will have local mechanic do the job.

My aftermarket trailer hitch (Drawtite) was insalled by Lexus for $600 total approx 5 years ago. The wiring got corroded over time causing electrical problems. Lexus removed the wiring and fixed the fuses for around $100 for diagnostics, etc. The hitch itself was not removed (and is unusable without the wiring). Now Lexus wants $500 to put in new wiring for the hitch. They say a new hitch install is around $1000. What are my options? Should I go to UHaul and buy a new hitch, etc? Can I get the wiring itself somewhere and do it myself? Does anyone have experience with UHaul installation? Any help/comments is appreciated. Thanks

how much should the 60k service cost at the lexus dealer? Mine is coming up soon... Also, the dealer recently charged me around $400 to change my rear brake pads and resurface the rotors as I was down to 0%. Unfortunately the rotors look the same as before the resurfacing. Are they taking me for a ride? I have 56,000 miles on my car. My front pads are at 40% and the dealer wants to change them too (of course). I am thinking of going elsewhere. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!
