Wow, that is a nice site for a great basic concept of audio systems overall! Thanks a lot for that, I was pretty sure I was going to get a sub installed with a mono-amp but im still wondering which company I should go w/ to get the best price/install quality? If anyone knows it would be great to hear it!

I was Wondering the same thing... Im about to get my IS250 and I know it has a very CLEAR sound but Im pretty sure it wont ever have the amount of bass Im looking for... I'll be receiving my 2007 IS250 w/ X- Package 9/25, I think the X-Package adds quite a bit for the increase of a small amount. Its around $800 more for the package if you subtract the cost of the 18in. wheels your already paying for. Its sets the car apart from all the other ISs' and makes it look pretty sweet w/ the 18 in 5 spoke rims! I actually really like the front lip spoiler, and I REALLY love the Illuminated scuff plates ;)

Hahah That Awesome! I just orderd a Silver exterior w/ Black Interior IS250 which also arrives 9/25!! Im about to have an anxiety attack waiting on it... Im 17 years old and I have been driving a White 1994 ES 300 for almost 2 years now and cant wait to go from POC to Amazing ;) I got the X-Package w/ my car and it is quite possible the tightest addition for the smallest amount of money ever ;)

Ive heard from friends of mine looking at the IS350's in Houston that the dealerships have drastically jacked up the prices on the cars. A fully loaded one that my friend was looking at was 44k.... What is that?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well since were on the audio part of the IS which w/ 13 speakers sounds great. My mom has the 05' ES330 w/ premium sound system, it has 7 speakers, mark levinson system w/ the lil 8 inch. sub. It sounds great, very clear and crisp, however does not provide the amount of bass I want! However, In my 94' ES I have the nakamichi premium sound system, it was nice but those speakers have been blown out, I have installed nice aftermarket speakers, plus a $150 amp, and my 12 inch sub and it blasts. Its just as clear as the mark levinson system and the bass hits the low tones perfectly and you can feel it throughout the car + around my car :). Im hoping I wont have to add much to the IS system once I get it in May, I think I will get the standard sound system and update it myself w/ cheaper and what I think is better aftermarket speakers/subs. Just my two cents...

Hah Mark Levinson, Yes its a great system, my mom has it in her 06' ES 330. But Gues what, I have my ES 300 hooked up w/ aftermarket speakers that cost about the same as what it cost my mother to upgrade to ML and my system is MUCH more crisp and has the bass, mid-high level frequencies, and can reach those low tone bass tones 10x better than my mothers ML system does... Just wanted to add that.... However 90% of you all will not want to have to mess with aftermarket installs... But I can assure you, ML is not the top in audio quality, but is much better than the stock! Just dont give up on the 13 speaker standard coming with the 1st Gen. IS's it might be decent, cant tell until you hear them...

Im guessing noone knows this.... Is the Ventilated/Heated seats thing w/ the Is350 standard? Im sure its not... but heres my question what will be the extra cost to add that? Also is there an upgrade sound system other than the 13 speaker standard?? Thank you!
