Just did this. Go the Freeze12 route. It's cold, doesn't require any replacements (aside from different connector) and it's cheap. You can even get it with the dye built in. Save big bucks.

Having just recently bought a '91 LS400, I'm about to get started on a tuneup and wondered if anyone in the forum had a spark plug recommendation. And are there any feelings about better spark plug wire sets? I got the full story on oil from the pinned topic. And it seems there's a PCV that could stand replacing as well. Thanks!
