Do you have any good advice for me? My air blows but the air does not get cold. I took to a few people nobody has the same? thing to say. One guy told me that I may need to flush and clean the system due to it setting at the shop for so long. Another guy told me that the compressor was not working but the other gut pointed out to me that it was spinning around and looked to be okay. What do you think? Thanks Jbar - compressor w/ clutch replaced within the last year with a rebuilt unit. Guy who installed it and another mechanic say it checks out fine. Any other ideas? ← ←

Hi, Can anybody help? I got this car almost free, a 1991 Lexus LS400 the motor is rebuilt. It drives really nice the motor is smooth, I love the look, the ride, everything but the air is not working. The car was in a shop for almost 3 years the past owner never picked it up. I was told that if the car was motor was taken out and left uncovered the air conditioner may need to be flushed at a cost of $700. That almost the amount that I paid for the car. PLEASE, SOMEBODY GIVE ME SOME HOPE. TELL ME THATS NOT TRUE. 1. The air conditioner blows but the air blowing out is not cold at all. Is the air conditioner a common problem with the LS400? 2.I would like to replace the seats the leather is cracking on the front passenger seat I guess because it sat for so long.

I did, I was my power steering pump. I paid $120 for the pump and $145 to have it put on. Good luck with yours.
