  1. Is it kind of a "Shimmy" in the wheel? I have the same issue with a 00 470 with 65,000 miles on it Vibration felt more in the seat / floor not really in the steering wheel Ant reccomendations from anyone on the shimmy in the wheel? I had a similar situation with my 2001 LX470, it has done it since I had it @37k miles. Well after I took my truck in for the 60k service it has not done it since. My best guess is that something in the driveline. I say this because at 37k I had the original Michelin tires. At 50k I replaced all 5 and still had vibration. Perhaps the tech actually torqued down the bolts on the output flange on the driveline or greased the slip yolk? Don't know other then the vibration is gone. Hope this helps.
  2. Moisture did not cause accumulators to wear out. They simply fail from age and internal flexing. Please go to my website 'activesuspensionsystems.com' and read all about it. At the Dealer expect to pay between $3500 and $4000 for the parts and labor. From me, a better part , 3 times the warranty, DIY for $1400 total. Labor to install by a mechanic 1 hour total. At 61k the dealer did the big 60k service. The problem with the bouncing began around 62 k. At 64k the dealer changed the Height control Oil because they said it was contaminated. Will a contaminated hyd system caouse these accumulators to fail? The dealer goofed... Make them fix it. If they give you any pushback call Lexus and explain your situation. I am sure Lexus will step up. Good Luck!
