  1. I am trying to fix the same issue. In the back of the truck I have a power outlet and a line level input. After buying a monster cable adapter for my ipod, I was shocked to find out that the line input can only be listened to from the wireless headphones that come with the factory dvd system. The AUX input mode in the head unit only works when there is a dvd in the rear player and the audio signal is always the audio from the DVD player. I find this to be absurdly poor engineering. I am now exploring whether it is possible to splice the audio output from the dvd player and put in an a/b switch that would allow me to inject the ipod signal (preferably from inside the front center console). Next steps would be to take the video output from the rear system and put in an a/b switch to the front video monitor for movies! any thoughts there?
