  1. You can check out eBay. It seems folks are selling OEM decks (used) with CD controls... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LEXUS-ES300...1QQcmdZViewItem For folks who have replaced their OEM radios with aftermarkets, did you find it a noticeable upgrade from the OEM? I've got pretty decent sound coming from my stock radio on my 97 ES but I'm seriously contemplating an aftermarket rather than tinkering with fixing the display issues on my OEM. Please advise.
  2. Great...so that means I can go about 40 miles with the light on in a crunch (not that I plan to mind you). I'm curious about how you found this out...calculations, standard info etc. I'm trying to get the same info for my girlfriend's car (she has an '04 Nissan Altima), but I was coming up with 5 gallons in reserve. Before doing my calculations on my own car I decided to ask here.
  3. Try this Tyler http://www.fueleconomy.gov/!Removed!/byclass/Com..._Cars1994.shtml 18 in the city, 24 on the highway.
  4. Anyone have any idea how many miles to empty from the time the Low Fuel light comes on? I plan on doing the calculations next time it comes on before I fill up...but curious to know the answer if anyone has it. Thanks.
  5. I have the same issue with my check engine/trac lights on my 97...do you guys know if the above steps for the '00 would be the same? Thanks.
  6. If anyone is interested in a lcd replacement let me know, Or If you want a headunit instead. Either way. Just dropping in here to help out. Thanks for the welcome guys...joined about a year ago and have been peeping occasionally now. I'm really enjoying and appreciative of the advice you guys have been giving here
  7. Ridiculous that we are all having the same issue with the LCD display on our units...mine has blacked out and I can no longer decipher what station I'm listening to or which CD track I'm playing. Is this the 'delamination' issue...or is this simply a bulb issue? Is it worth the hassle to fix or simply replace with another radio (as I'm leaning towards).
