2013 Center Console Door Won't Open All The Way.

Anyone find a solution? I’ve tried to look myself to solve the same problem {probably a pen was on top when closed and thenwhen the flap was open, it fell causing the cup holders to be useless}. The cheapest quote that I have received is a solid $200 diagnostic fee to even look into the problem, not fix it.
