  1. I'm thinking the unit is probably fine, something was done putting the new radio in would be my guess. And I have a full set of manuals, and they are more confusing than all the wiring behind the radio!!!!
  2. Doesn't seem to, as far as I can tell none of those top buttons do anything/have power.
  3. The only fuse I could find that had anything to do with it was listed as "Tv/navigation" and I think it was #29 in the passenger side kick panel and that 5amp fuse was fine. Yes there is a backup cam. I pulled the climate control out and all plugs were there and plugged in. No as far as I know the nav screen doesn't work, seems like all the buttons on top of the climate control are dead. Is there another plug somewhere that I'm missing? Or a different fuse?
  4. Ahh, I thought you were talking on the car.
  5. Ok, I have a 2004, before I bought it the previous owner changed the Radio out for a nice Pioneer with all the goodies, back up cam, car play, Sirius ready, Bluetooth, bla bla bla BUT, the nav door doesn't function. The nav unit is in there, I pushed the door up part way to see, it has a 2013 disc in the unit in the trunk, no Idea if it works and not sure I care. I have nave through my phone that works through the radio. I really want to get that door operational and to see what works and what doesn't. Seems all the buttons on the top of the climate control are dead, I did pull it out and all the plugs back there are plugged in, so that's ok I guess but it still doesn't seem to be getting power. I have a full set of Lexus shop manuals but I can't find any reference as to the nav door or power to those buttons! Anyone have any idea on where to start?
  6. And where would I find this garage door opener antenna?
  7. So I bought my 2004 and the radio had already been changed out and the nav door won't open, trying to figure out how to get it working again.
  8. I am by Kershaw SC, you might talk me into traveling to Black Mountain. A get together might be fun!
  9. Hmmm, I didn't realize we had any lights in the console.
  10. I have a brand new set of Michelin Pilot run flats on my SC, they work and handle fine, no noise issue at all.
  11. Just google it, several will pop up, including on ebay.
  12. I have a plug kit and a small compressor I used to carry on my Harley, but if and when I get rid of my run flats I too will track down a spare for this guy!
  13. We had a Honda S2000 before this car, talk about a lightweight screamer!! And the handling was incredible! I like that smart roadster up there you posted, very cool!
  14. I am sure that is the case, but I have a while to wear these out first and then I'll figure it out. AND if I change, I'll have to track down a spare, and that takes up a lot of trunk space!
  15. We looked for quite a while to find the color combo we liked. Upon initial research we were looking for a 2006 or newer for the upgrades they had made but found out that after 2005 the Absolute Red was no longer available. We did not want a black interior due to the heat inside with the top down, we had just sold a Honda S2000 with the black interior and it cooked us whenever the top was down. Also didn't like the Ecru interior, the seats were fine but the carpet in the cars we looked at was always soiled looking due to the very light color. When we saw this combo we were sold, had to drive 500 miles to get it but it was worth it to us. And yes, stock works for us too! Heck it's even got brand new set of run flats on it, and to me they seem fine. Telling the wife the other day how well it tracked going down the road! Really liking this new old little car!
  16. I'm going to agree with you, I wouldn't mind some new chrome wheels, these painted silver stockers don't do much for me. But I personally would stick with stock size as I like the way this car looks and handles.
  17. Agreed!! Pretty cool looking and I've never seen one either!
  18. Yes, I just went through this with my 2004 yesterday! I was afraid I was not going to get it back in!! Also noticed on the top of the stick at the handle it says trans fluid never needs to be replaced!! My fluid was still a nice pinkish color (58K) so I'm thinking I'm still good.
  19. Out of the three pics, the two bottom ones are kind of a toss up. I'm glad you posted those, I really don't like the "spokes" on the top pic.
