I recently had an issue described as the same. I don’t know anything about hybrid vehicles (except I love mine!) so I took it to a mechanic. A hefty diagnosis fee later I am leaning toward the fact that one of my front tires lost a balance magnet causing that tire to be out of balance. In addition he told me my break pads are worn. I could be wrong but maybe someone else has some insight on the matter.

Hi. I was driving my 400h and applied the brake in normal fashion when it felt like something cut loose. My brake warning light came on as well as my traction control warning and another light for tires. The tire light had come in the day before and I put a little bit of air in all four tires and it went off. Please tell me if you have any idea what the issue might be. Thank you.
