  1. See my post on our 2019 RX450 F-Sport harsh ride on the OEM 20” wheels. Installed 18” and it is noticeably smoother. Seat quality is acceptable but on long rides 300+ miles I wish there was more bolstering at the thighs. I’m 65 at 5’ 9” 200lbs so my weight may have more to do with that the seat itself. Good luck!
  2. Costco came with an early install of the new 18” Velux Black rims and Michelin CrossClimate2. A much improved ride! Road bumps are greatly attenuated. It’s not a Bentley glide to be sure, but those OEM 20” wheels really transmitted the bumps where as the 18” absorbed those very same bumps. I call this a success. Thanks for all the advice!
  3. Thanks a bunch for the replies! I placed an order for black 18” rims with 235/65/18 Michelin Cross Climate II tires. I will post a review when I get these on the road.
  4. Thanks Zuess253. So you are not recommending reducing the rim size but rather the sidewall and keeping the 20 inch factory rims? As long as the new rims match the new tires I should see a reduction in the harsh ride? Seattle streets are terrible.
  5. Has anyone tried a smaller rim and tire size to improve the ride quality? I want to know the cons before I buy 17 inch rims and tires.
