1997 SC300 Manual. Red with tan interior. Paid $14000 It has JDM engine and will redo the new leather seats. Speedometer does not work. Looking for an ECU

Good morning Just bought a Lexus SC300 Manual. Speedometer does not work and most likely need an ECU. Found some on Ebay for $180 but someone told me to make sure it is for manual. Is that correct? Where can I get some that will work for sure even for more money. Thank you
