  1. What year is your car? I have 04RX boss has 06GX have not noticed it on either one of ours??? I would think that there would be a way to cut off the POI icon...is restaurants checked? It's a 2005 SC430. Nothing is checked under POI. That's what's strange about it. I did a Google search and some one had written an article about the new GS430 and he said "Starbucks indicator on Nav is way cool!" http://reviews.cnet.com/2005_Lexus_GS_430/...84&cval=1188184 That made me wonder if it's a partnership. Still searching...
  2. Is it me or my Navigation system started to display all the Starbucks stores suddenly? I'm sure that this feature was not turned on, until I took my car for service about 2 months ago. I just noticed it when I was using the navigation system in Down Town and the screen was filled with a picture of "Cup of Coffee" and every time I reached to one of the icons, I glanced outside and sure enough, there was a Starbucks there. Going to POI does not display anything selected, so it's somehow hard coded. Does anyone know about this or better yet, does anyone know how to turn this off for those of us non-Starbucks drinkers?
  3. I had my Vaistech installed this week. It really works well. The only problem is that the controls are a little confusing. I may need to adjust the setup. Mine shows Disk 80 and when I punch in the XM channel, I need to hit the "10" track for the "0". Does anyone have experiece with this? ← I just installed a Vaistech AIC-100i iPod interface (www.vaistech.com) for the factory installed head unit. It works fine for the most part. The unit was about $360 and plugs right into iPod's docking connector where it also charges the unit. Just encountered a problem with their software, where when you turn on the ignition, the key sequence goes to ACC, then ignition, then back to ACC with the engine on. During this process, the stereo unit gets turnd ON-OFF-ON (normal.) The Vaistech's AIC-100i for some reason gets "lost" sometimes and doesn't show as a MD1 changer unit. I actually have to turn the engine OFF and back on again to see it. They told me that they have fixed it and I need to send the unit back so they can upgrade it and send it back to me. I'm not sure if I'm up for that. I did ask them to send me a fixed unit and I'll send the old one back to them. I don't think they'll listen.
