This worked using in Step 2 the ODO mode on our 2008 SC 430.

How to Reset Lexus Maintenance Light Turn on your engine. Flip your Odometer/Trip Display to ODO mode or TRIP A mode, depending on the model. Turn the ignition switch off. Hold the Trip Meter Reset button while turning the ignition switch back on. Wait for the maintenance light to blink, turn solid, and then turn off.
