You may just not have enough power going to the back wheels to notice the difference. ;) ← It has nothing to do with the power and everything to do with control. If you want to shift get a real standard, if you don't..get an automatic. The eShift is a hybrid and lacks the shifting control you get with a true manual.

eShift is ghey! Used it once, found it quite useless and restrictive.

I've had my GS300 for about a month now...about a week after I got it, I had the windows tinted and a spoiler added... Here is a pic...Is this the type of spoiler you were talking about?

Wow..I like them alot!! I have been tossing the idea around on getting new wheels for my 01 GS300 but could never really find a set I thought looked nice...but those I like!!

That's crazy talk! Everything I have read states putting the extra octane into a car that requires the low-stuff does nothing; however, putting low-stuff into a car that require high-stuff can diminish the performance... I have read that in a few auto mags...and whether its accurate info or not, if you can afford a 50k car, why wouldn't you just spend the extra $3/tank and put what the manu recommends? not picking on you as much as trying to understand the logic...

Hmmm.. Do I love my 01 GS300? YES Not sure if I would buy another...not becuase there is anything wrong, there is just not enough time in life to drive all the cars I want, so buying another would reduce the amount of cars I could own ;) I had an 01 330Cic that I loved, great car while living in Cali, sold it and got the GS300 which is MUCH better for New England...I think I may got for something like an S500 next...not sure...ohhh, I do like how Nissan changed the M45, maybe I'll try that next ;)

I need to take new pics, the car is dirty :( ... anyway the first one is the day I bought it (about a month ago), the second is a decent side view from a few weeks ago when I got the tint...the third is right after I got the spoiler.

I did 35% on the backs and 20% on the fronts...I live in Mass and that tint is illegal, but it looks good ;) I will post a pic shortly

Awesome...congrats! I just bought an 01 GS300 about a month ago...33K/mi CPO w/ full Lexus warranty. Paid 23k. Love the car...tinted the windows and added a spoiler. ...In doing my research I thought they didn't add the sport pkg until 03 tho?
