  1. Did you ever figure out how these two circuits connect? I have the same drain and would love to pull the dome fuse but still have the radio on.
  2. The largest optional tire size on gen 1 I believe is 235/70R16. I have a set of cooper discoverer at3 4s in that size on my gen 1. Some people here might have fit 245 but probably with some light rubbing. You could also go taller instead of wider, to 225/75R16 but you’ll get pretty close to the rear spring perches. They should still fit though.
  3. Just fyi, you could go to https://drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrivers/resources/vehicle-specs and put in a VIN number. Then click the "Download full specs" button under the vehicle image. On page 2 of the downloaded document it should say `LD Rear Limited Slip Diferential (LSD) Factory` if it has it. That's where I verified that I have one, although I haven't been able to test out if it's functional after 200k miles on mine.
  4. I am running new cooper discoverer 235/70/16 which are 28.82” tall if one trusts the factory specs. They have just about 5/8” clearance in the rear (on original struts). So it might be close but you‘d have 1/2” to work with at the strut, which means up to 1” taller tire before you hit it. Most AT 235/75s seem around 29.7” tall which means .9” taller total than the 235/70s, and .45” taller at the strut. So by that logic it should fit but barely. But there’s only one way to find out. Please let us know!
  5. That’s a great look! And the tires look big for their size. Mine are 235 at’s and don’t look so beefy at all. Which Russian spacers did you go with? 20, 30 or 40 mm?
  6. Congrats on your nice find. It’s amazing how these 1st gen RX have kept their looks and appeal all this time. Looking forward to see how the adventure goes. I have a 99, same color, and now you’ve got me wondering if it has the lsd since it has factory towing upgrades. If you were to upgrade the tires, would you go with something that can still fit in the spare tire location? I’m concerned about not having a spare if I go too big... or having to carry a larger spare inside the cabin. But something like the general atx 225/75/R16 is appealing in size (no spacers or lift required). Enjoy the RX!
