2006 Lexus LX470 Bought used on 2013 2 owners, purchased from Acura of Baton Rouge 85k miles Regular PM work with AGCO Automotive in Baton Rougge, La Problems: Just in the last few weeks had electrical problems, throwing codes, not starting. Replaced battery and still had problem. Repair shop changed the alternator and belt. Ran fine for a week. Then last night it would start and run for less than 2 seconds and shut itself down. Tried several times with different keys and still had this problem. Mechanic wonders if it has something to do with the security system. My wife is sure it's related to something to do with rain. It has started to act up the day after a rain and we drive it three times in the last 6 weeks. I'm at a loss. Anyone have these kind of "weird" problems even with a new battery and alternator? Can the security system malfunction and shut down the engine less than 2 seconds after start? PM: Wife tried to start the Lexus this morning and it started and ran fine?????
