  1. I am not sure exactly what a tow bar is, but if you mean a hitch receiver, any trailer hitch place can order and install one for about $125 US. I got mine in Atlanta GA area the next day. I would never pull anything bigger than a kayak carrier, I use mine for the bike rack. I did not get a tail light connection. That is a little complicated and requires a separate kit that starts under the hood. I cannot imagine trying to pull, or stop, a camper of any size. Hope I am not in front of someone who tries.
  2. Sorry for the multiple posts above. If it is the "L" shaped clip that springs the door open, you will have to buy it at a Lexus Dealer. They should have plenty. To open the gas door by yourself, you have to pull the ring in the trunk with your right hand while opening the door with your left. Helps if you have long arms.
  3. Since that's a specialized part, you'll have to get this clip at a Lexus dealer's parts department. If they don't have it in stock, they can order it for you. It might take a couple of days. ← it can be a one person job till you find one- pop the trunk and pull the emergency release cord located in the left hand side of the trunk. ←
  4. Hi, I just acquired a 2000 ES 300 and when I use the button to open the fuel door, I can hear the click noise but it doesn't pop open. I have to open the trunk and pull the emergency release. That way I am close enough to the fuel door to reach it and pull it open. I've read something about a 'flat piece of metal' as opposed to a spring that is supposed to be there. Can anyone help me figure out if that is what is missing? Here's a photo of my open fuel door so you can see the hinge and maybe tell what needs to go there. Thanks for your help, this is a great car so far!
  5. Or even a good place to get one? My passenger side mirror housing is cracked and chipped, but the actual mirror is OK. Where is the best place to get a replacement? Thanks!
