  1. Thanks everyone. I hope it was just a one time deal. Yes, I did have all the doors unlocked, I tried the power button and the manual way. I was parked outside in the snow for quite a few hours. I'm thinking it's the combination of the cold and wetness. I hope this won't happen again. :(
  2. I was just in a head on accident 4 weeks and my 2004 RX 330 was totaled. Both the steering air bag & the knee bag was deployed (and I was wearing a seat belt). I can tell you that I was extremely grateful I was able to walk out of the hospital that same night without loosing one drop of blood. No cuts just some bruises. I can't tell you enough how I appreciate all the safety feature in this vehicle. I just bought another 2005 RX 330 (thanks to my insurance since the other person at fault did not have any). After what it's done for me, I don't think I would even consider another brand of vehicle. I hope this answers your question of "if airbags are necessary"
  3. Have anyone else had problem with their RX330's power rear door? One time in the snow, I started the car and tried to open the rear door to get my snow brush but it felt like the door was frozen in place, it made the noise like it was trying to open but couldn't for some reason. I had to reach for the snow brush from the back seats. Did anyone else experience this same problem? :(
