  1. bringing back an old thread, you can hard wire the detector, usually takes about 5mins to do. I have a Valentine 1 in my Dodge srt-4(im a troll my sis has an is300 :P) works great, i run the cord from the fuse box up thru the driverside a-pillar, up across the top (tucked into the headliner) then into the unit which is attatched to the windshield next to my rear view mirror
