  1. Found the breakin info.. it says 621 miles. Not required but recommended.
  2. Where in the manual does it say 650 miles for break-in period? I went to 1000 Miles for mine, but my car came with 33 miles on it already so who knows how it was driven during those 33 miles. I have always heard 100 miles for beakin or 500 miles. I would think now a days the manufacturer breaks the engines in at the plant to make sure it runs ok before shipping out.
  3. I hear this as well.. kinda sounds like the brakes pads are touching the rotors. Anyone else hear this noise?
  4. Good solution for radar detector for IS350? I know which radar detector to get but the bummer is it is a corded radar detector and the cord would run right in the middle of the gps screen. I am contemplating the solo 2 cordless but I am not that excited about going thru a ton of batteries. Anyone using a radar detector for the IS350 with nav? If so what is your setup and where are the power cables runing? Thanks...
  5. Yes that is faster but half of my calls are not numbers I would put in my quick dial, they are temporary numbers. Would be nice to have a work around but sounds like there is not one.
  6. Thanks for the info... I think Lexus went a little overboard on disabling certain features while the car is moving for safetly reasons.
  7. I was more interested in just seeing the phone number that is calling. Right now my phone is not 100% compatible and was wondering if someone will like a razr phone will see the incoming phone number display on the gps screen while the car is moving.
  8. Caller ID while car is moving? Anyone that has a bluetooth phone that works properly with the IS does caller ID show up on the gps screen while the car is moving?
  9. I also get this popping noise... I thought it was just me...
  10. Scott you might find this useful. I came across this the other day. Is shows what features are compatible with what bluetooth car kits for verizon phones. http://dts.vzw.com/how_to_use/bluetooth_car_kit.html The link below is specific to the Razr http://dts.vzw.com/pdf/Motorola_carkit_RAZR_V3c.pdf I have to give cudos to verizon to supply this information to consumers. I have not found any other cell phone provider that gives this information out. NOTE: the Razr does fully work with the 2006 IS from what i tested. I have thinking about getting rid of my Treo 700w and getting a Razr thru verizon.
  11. I paried a friends Verizon Razr v3 and everything worked perfectly. But no luck with the Treo 700w. Maybe time for a new phone and/or provider?
  12. I was wondering if I could dial without using the voice dial. Example...I want to dial a phone number from my car phone book.
  13. Dial a phone number while driving? Is there a way to bypass the phone dialing on the GPS screen with a work around like the tempory one for inputing addresses into the GPS while driving?
  14. Does anyone have a Treo 700w and a 2006 IS with bluetooth? I am able to make calls but some static with connection as well as no signal strength, no battery level and no caller ID on the GPS screen. Is anyone else experiencing these issues with this phone?
