Good afternoon. Thanks for the news .Do you have any idea how I can get enough information in order to talk to a dealer about getting my LS 460 repaired under warranty? I am concerned that if I cannot supply a warranty or repair order number, my dealer may be unable or unwilling to research for it. Thanks again.

Your Lucas Spitfire and my Godzilla Lexus must be kinfolks. Thanks for the idea. I will test your theory this morning by covering/uncovering the dashboard sensor. -
The "auto" mode on my headlight switch is, I believe, angry with me and not working properly. Several times the headlights have gone during a night drive with the "auto mode" on. Turning the switch to "Off" and then to "On" seems to work fine.. All bulbs are functioning just fine. Anyone know where the problem is? Night driving w/o headlights is a real pain! Thanks in advance.

I "think" this occurs during the "Auto" mode, but I am not certain. Thanks for the suggestion. I am finding that driving without headlights can be a thrill I don't enjoy! Thank you.

The front headlights turned off while stopped at a stop light the other night. This is not the first time it has happened. Other weird things are occurring. Occasionally the right headlight will not turn on. A few days later the left will not turn on but the right one is OK. As far as I can determine, all bulbs work fine..except not always when they should. My untrained guess is a problem exists upstream from the headlights. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Hey Vennie-thanks for the response. Nope, I didnt reset the oil reminder on the dash. Didnt know that it existed. Where can I find it? Thanks again for your response.

I changed my oil and filter a few months ago and have driven approximately 3000 miles since that time. Recently the message "Oil Maintenace Required" appeared on the speedometer console. I checked the dip stick, and the oil appeared normal and full. I have not used the "Maintenance" feature of the console, and I cannot get the warning message to go away. Anyone have a solution? Thank you in advance.

I have a 2" "slice" in the driver side arm rest. The slice is very thin and none of the padding under the vinyl cover is visible. If anyone has a suggestion of how to repair the slice, I would appreciate a response.
