  1. Nice pic showing the mount. I use the air vent mount instead because I can remove it easily and it wont leave a mark on the dash. I fit the GPS on the right air vent using the air vent mount and it holds it firmly. Since I don't use it very often I remove it when its not needed. It would surely look nice if I could get one that fits like the custom made one. Thanks guys for the feedback.
  2. I have an older model - 2002 ES300. It does not have a built in GPS. I have seen the same model with built in GPS. My question, can I install one? I raed somewhere that if it didnt come with one trying to install one will not work. Any truth to this? Thank you
  3. Thank you. I will check it out. DR
  4. I dont know why it was removed. There was no body work on it so I cant say why. I am familiar with the extra tax on imported cars to the Caribbean in the 80s on engines over 3.0CC. Thats not the case here in the US in NJ now. Thats why i will put it back on to match the LEXUS emblem on the left side along with the large L in the center. I dont see any logical reasons not to restore it. Thank you for the 3M double side tape confirmation. Since I have the es 300 emblem I may just put it on.
  5. I will try the soda can foam coolies that @MargoLing suggested.
  6. The es 300 logo or emblem is missing from my trunk. There is no holes for push-on so I assume to mount another logo its by using adhesive. Any recommendation in adhesive brands? i was thinking 3M double side tape. Will that hold it securely? Thank you DR
  7. gbhrps - Thank you. I was looking at the emergency key in my booklet the other day but did not know the key code that the site needs in order to cut the key is on the emergency key that in my booklet. I will look for the code and go ahead to get the replacement key. If not I may have to check out the dealer for the code. Thank you.
  8. My remote was not working. It never bothered me. Now the casing broke and the key fell out. What is the most economical way to get the key into a new casing. All the cases I saw on ebay have an uncut key already fused into the casing.
