  1. post some engine shots when you get ur car back if possible, be cool to look at
  2. i wanna do timing belt and water pump on my es250 , if anyone has carfax let me know, be cool to look up ,my vin number ,
  3. i checked the oil it was full, so i dont think im burning oil , im thinking about switching, just let me know if u need a diff oil filter, or you use the regular oil filter
  4. i dont think i burn that much oil, i just checked it, i have a nother question, on cars like ours armyof one, is better to switch to a synthetic oil, like mobil 1 , and if you do switch to a synthetic, do you need a special synthetic oil filter, my engine has 119,000 miles, 14 yrs old, should i stay regular oil, or switch to synthetic oil, let me know .
  5. i havent noticed it, the mecanic told me today , gona check it out tomorow , freaked me out , last thing i want is my engine burning oil im gona check the dip stick, and see how low it is , or if its ok
  6. if it is a little blue smoke, how bad is that , how much life does my engine have, cause i like this car , and dont want my engine to go, also i cant afford to change my timeing belt yet , if that brakes will the pistons get twisted and messed up

  8. help me out, cause this is bad news, i just see like smoke from cold weather, i dont see blue smoke, and it passed inspection last year
  9. just got a tune up, the mechanic sais when he revs the engine up, he sees blue smoke, like its burning oil, i never noticed anything before, what could cause this if it is burning oil and what can you do to fix it, i have a 1991 es250 119,000 miles,

  12. i have a black 1991 es250 the car is 14 years old and the paint was semi shinny, after nu-finish it was big improvement, like i can see myself in the car like a mirror, but there are some slight swirl marks here and there from old paint, but overall its a nice improvement , hopefully it will protect my paint from road salt
  13. i just nu- finished my car , looks pretty good, smooth like glass, i see everyone using mequiars wax , any comments on nu-finish
  14. are all waterpumps the same, im gona buy one off ebay, what are good parts for ur car, lexus cam timing belt, what are the better spark plugs and wires to get , and will any new water pump and pcv valve work, maby i should post this in maintence part of the forums ,
  15. deff changing timing belt , a lexus cam belt 100.000 miles, water pump , pcv valve , maby thermostat , rotors/caps/wires/plugs, and everything else cant wait
  16. after a full tune up, and get my engine detailed and painted, im gona take some good pics of the engine, and interior and out side , probally a month , looking into tunes ups now

  19. thanks army , my es250 looks just like urs, same color, just have grey leather , and i put black sheep skin seat covers on the front, but not the head rest , gona do a full tune up wth my tax return :cries::chairshot::whistles: <_< :D ← no problem...but can you quit using so many smileys? alot o our users are 56K and it takes a while to load them up. i dont have leather, i have the cloth, leather in TX would be a bizzatch! i want to get some seat covers for mien ot preserve my nearly perfect interior. If you have any more questions, let em know. i know alot abotu the ES250, most of the guys here dont know much abotu them. they are rare and were the first gen. as such there arent very many around anymore. maybe 10,000 total. ;) ← us es250 people have to stick together , cant wait to get a tune up, had the car for 4 years , nothing ever broke on it but the brake pads
