Hi Danc; I just leased a 2015 GS from Lexus of Orlando. It was the base model and does not have the heated/cooled seats. My 2012 IS did and they worked very well, but my passengers would always turn theirs off, lol. So your GS has cooled seats and they just don't cool very well? Have you taken it back to the dealership to have them look at them, could be just something minor?

Hi All; I just leased my first car and it was a 2015 GS 350 (Deep sea mica with flaxen interior). I had a 2012 IS 250, which I bought as a CPO with 18,000 miles on it. I liked the car, but it was not big enough in the back seat for one of my sons or carrying any rear seat passengers for a decent length drive. After seeing the GS, I always wanted one. So for $475 first payment and 475 a month I leased it for 36 months, 10000 miles a year (plenty for me, since I have a company car), I thought it was a pretty good deal. Now mine is the base with navigation, so I do miss the heated/cooled seats (living in Florida), the rest of the options are nice (blind spot detection, park assistance, etc.., but not really needed unless you are in to gadgets). I am pretty sure I will stay with the GS line just get the heated/cooled seats next time and if it comes with all the other stuff, so be it. I feel I got a pretty good deal on the lease considering I owed 20,000 on the 2012 and I needed no money down and had a credit score of 670. I was already paying 350.00 a month on the IS, so a hundred or so was not a big jump for a car I wanted. Plus my insurance only went up 60.00 a year. I do eye from time to time the Beemers and the Benzs, but overall Lexus has the reliability and style that is still pretty good. If I wanted to go big, I would just go with the LS 460, lol. Also, where do we ever drive them like race car drivers? Everyone says they want a "sports car type feel" but we buy these large 4 door cars. If you want the thrill of the seat driving get a Porsche 911, lol. If you want a nice ride and luxury, I found the Lexus GS and LS line the car to buy. I am interested though at the 24 month point. My salesman said that a little after 24 months, if I was close to my mileage cap, they would trade me out no problem and no cost, so that will be interesting to see what happens then.

Hi All; I never leased a car before so I leased a GS 350 at my Central Florida Lexus Dealer. I traded my 2012 IS 250 with 27,000 on it and I owed $19,500. I got a 2015 base for $475.00 a month with only $475 due at signing. I got the Deep sea mica with flaxen interior. Here is the what is on the paperwork they gave me; Cap Cost Reduction 3392.02 1st monthly payment 475.00 Reg. Fees 205.19 Tax on cap reduction 217.61 upfront tax on fees 4.32 Total due at signing 4295.04 Gross Cap cost 47,105.06 Adjusted cap cost 44,412.14 Residual Value 30,374.95 Depreciation/amortized 14,037.19 rent charge 2,019.24 total based on monthly payments 16,056.43 36 payments at 446.01 with 28.99 taxes, total 475 a month This was a 36 month lease with 10,000 miles a year. It was a base GS with navigation and I had a 670 credit score. They claimed they had huge rebates that allowed me to only need the 475 for first payment. Good or bad for my 1st lease. I was paying 345.77 on my IS for 72 months at 3.9% and made 11 payments. When I traded my IS they paid it off and I only received like $47.00 in equity. Thanks all.

Hi, I saw your post and it depends on your needs. I own a 2012 IS250, it is a CPO. I noticed the rear seat is a little tight for rear seat passengers. They say that the rear seating for the 2014 IS is a little bigger. For the money, I would get the 2013 GS350. I am going to trade my 2012 IS for a 2013 or 14 CPO GS350 as soon as I am financially able to. For the money you should be able to get a low mileage 2013 GS CPO or possibly the F-Sport, too. The GS also looks very good and being a Lexus it will run for ever with little maintenance costs. Good luck, I hope this helps. Paul
