anyone find any updates or new info on the hestitaion???????? my car seems to only do this the most right after getting on the throttle and driving it hard.......

you dont think a stereo shop would be able to test out the amp in your car to see if it works??? Its a stereo shop man, im pretty sure they know how to tell if an amp is blowm or not.

just bring them to a stereo shop or pawn shop and they should be able to tell you if they work or not. Also anyone know how to fix static in the speakers and a semi loss of volume, a friend of mine has the same car with the same stereo and his pumps much louder than mine does. Could the static in the speakers and loss of volume be from a fried amp???? Thanks

i just replaced my headunit with the stock one, and i to can power it on and listen to tapes but only get static on the radio stations and thecd cahnger wont turn on either. Also i have alot of static distortion when the volume is tuned low. Anyone know how to fix this??

yes it sure is. No answers yet. Guess ill just have to take it to a car audio shop and get ripped off to get it fixed.

i was messing around with my fuses today and i put new ones into the boxes. I now have the antenna come up and only one station is playing. The thing is the head unit still isnt turned on and i cant control the volume, stations, etc. I dont get it?? peace

yo escee i have the same problem as you. I have a eclipse av5101 flip out tuner screen with a dvd player below it. The dvd player below works and all the other electrical components, windows climate, they all work. Everyhting except the screen does not turn on. I have no idea what could be wrong with it. i thought a cable behind it came loose but all were in properly. i have also too checked all the fuses and to no avail. Driving with no music really sucks.
