Lol no my faceplate has small velcro on each corner. One of the sweet things about it I have a usb hub that I plugged in a portable 320gb hd in my glovebox. best of luck with your setup if you need help you know where to find me. :) -

Thanks! The install was easy because the sc radio opening was perfect for a 7" tablet. My signal from the nexus 7 goes into a DAC to my amps. And for window shoppers I used my OEM radio taken apart an shaved down to cover my nexus. -
I just finished my install on my sc. My OEM headunit sounded bad so tried a alpine touchscreen that was ok. But the sound from my tablet is so clean and now having android in my car is the best. I had the same problem on my 94 sc400. I found a wire broken on the temp sensor it's to the left of the radio wrapped in foam tape. I fixed wire and boom i had the coldest ac start to blow. -

I use car washes with no problems but to take off just spray it with tire dressing and rinse it off that simple. .

I've done black on my emblems now they're pearl white.

It's up to you, tape or remove if you get overspray just rub it off. check out dipyourcar.com ^_^

Yes plasti dip is easiest coating to use. I've used it on everything even on my mini frig in my garage. It's great because it is not perm.
