  1. What type then, III? Or something else.
  2. No, it didnt last two days. The car stopped moving and wouldnt go again. The fluid was burnt this time. I dropped it at the trans place and waiting to hear back. It was a good effort with the help! Thanks :(
  3. Thanks for the picture meZoom! skperformance, I will let you know how it turns out. I did the trans fluid change and I am going to flush it a second time to get the rest out. The car has a new radiator so it shouldnt be blocked or that dirty inside. The fluid was blackish color. I drove the car after and it lagged on take but then at times it spun the tires without problem.
  4. skperformance I posted a reply in the ES300 section on this if you could help some more please.
  5. I wanted it to compare what you were talking about a kidney shaped thing in the pan of the tranny held by one bolt. I took down the pan and filter and saw nothing that looked like that except the mesh in the filter. Is that what you meant?
  6. Does anyone have a picture of what the trans looks like with the pan and filter off?
  7. A good example would be if you mixed up a cup of coffee with sugar and it all didnt melt away you would see residue on the bottom of the cup. Nothing large but its there and not the size of sugar grains but smaller. The car stills goes untill it gets warmed up pretty good. The area is about the size if you took a quart of trans fluid, dumpem it in the pan and added a teaspoon of sand in it. Not that course of large.
  8. No I don't have a digital camera. The shavings are on the magnet and an extra one that the previous owner must have put in. There are some shavings in the bottom of the pan also but not to fill your hand.
  9. I dropped the pan and there looks like alot of metal shavings in the bottom! And in the screen. New trans time? :(
  10. skperformance; I think it was you that told me to check the mess screen and return lines for the trans, do you have the procedure or know of were to get it? Thanks Bill
  11. What type and brand of Trans fluid is best. Syn or regular! 1993 ES300
  12. I guess thats what happens when you assume "THEY" checked it and did it right. I will take the time and do it myself this time. Is there write up somewhere on this or can I find the instructions in a repair book or the Aldata Repair dvd system? I have to plead ignorance because I dont know what was checked and what they used for fluid. What should I use and any help on the procedure would be great! Thanks Bill
  13. Yes the fluid was changed and when the pan was down it was checked. No luck. I can still drive the car untill it gets real heated but hen thats it. Thats why I thought a fluid change and cleaning would have done it, like you said. Thanks
  14. Can any other trannys be swapped with a 1993 ES300 besides a 1992 1993 camry?
  15. The transmission in my 1993 ES300 has gone bad. When it gets warmed up it stops moving! I tried looking around for one and they seem to be big bucks. Even from a junk yard. Is there an option here or am I stuck looking for a 1992 -1993 trans from the ES300 and Camry? Any help or suggestions would be great! Thanks Bill
