Hey there ... Yesterday I went in and with the entire package on the car minus the levinson sound system I couldn't get them lower than 42,000 and that doesn't include the tax, title, license so after that it really is more than 45,000 ... I have really no clue if that was good or bad deal as I have not purchased an ES before and have nothing to compare it to .... I do not have a trade in and probably going to do a two or three year lease .... thoughts?

2013 Lexus ES fully loaded except for the levinson sound system .. What is an acceptable price so I know if the dealership is !Removed! me or not ... This is my first Lexus period so I have no clue what to expect on how good of a deal I can get .... I will be going there later this week to try and get something worked out .. Thanks guys! Brian

Sat in a 2013 ls the other day at the dealership in their showroom .. Without doubt the most gorgeous, luxurious, comfortable interior of any car I have ever seen ... I cannot believe how amazing that interior is ..

Was at a Lexus dealership yesterday to show my fiance the es ... Literally the entire lot did not have one es with black leather interior .... There were a ton on the lot as well but I guess tan leather is a popular choice cause they all had it and zero had black ...

Paul: Hey there ... Ya, I actually listened to the sound system and than went in a car that had the Levinson system and honestly I could not tell a difference .. I know that sound system is awesome but honestly the one that comes with the ES that Lexus makes is pretty darn awesome as well ... The next decision is color ... I think it will be the tanish exterior color or silver but than I can't decide whether to get black or tan interior ... I am not going to purchase for a while so I have plenty of time but I cannot decide ... Now when I took a minute and sat inside the GS I could not believe how incredible that cabin is ... The ES is first rate but that GS is so nice but I don't think I want to spend the extra money for the GS ... Anyway, I will keep you posted ... Any more of your thoughts are always appreciate .. Went to dealership in Houston today and test drove a loaded ES ... The fit and finish on the car is impeccable ... The ride was great, quiet, etc ... The only thing the car didn't have was the upgraded sound system; however, the sound system it came with was still amazing ... I don't see why people are on the forum are posting they hear wind noise, road noise from tires, etc as I didn't hear any of that in a 20 minute test drive ... It will be a while before I am ready to make the purchase but I will in the future ... I also sat in a GS before I left and holy cow the inside of that car is beyond amazing ..

Test drove one today and wow what a car .. Fit and Finish are so high class .. Cabin is quiet .. Sound system was excellent!

Paul: Hey there and thank you very much for your response ... That is a good point in that since I have never driven one in the past how would I know :) ... I guess my thoughts in asking that is simply what I have seen from a few responses on hear about it having wind noise in the cabin as well as tire noise ... I really like the looks of the car and I simply need to get my butt to the dealership and drive a bunch of them .... Thanks for your responses guys and please keep your thoughts coming ... Have any of you driven the new Buick Lacrosse as I am curious how the new ES rides compared to that car as I have driven the Lacrosse and it is extremely quiet with no wind or tire noise whatsoever so I was hoping the ES was as good or even better than that ... Thanks!

Hey guys ... Thanks for your responses ... Just curious why you think the ES would not be for me? I am really confused as I have heard how quiet and luxurious the Lexus vehicles are but recently I seen posts and reviews saying the es is not a smooth ride and has a lot of tire noise ... I am just really confused ... Thanks for your time guys and anything else you can give your input about I would really appreciate it .. Thanks!

Hey everyone ... I am new to the forum and would appreciate you guys clearing some confusion that I have ... 1) I have owned Chevrolet's my whole life and also recently owned a Buick Lacrosse ... I have placed over 100,000 miles on all of them and literally never had one issue with the 10 cars total that I have owned ... They last forever without any issues and that is never taking them in for routine maintenance either ... I hear great things about Lexus but just don't want to own a car that is "high maintanence" ... What can I expect from Lexus regarding reliability, etc, etc? 2) I am searching for a vehicle that has zero wind noise, tire noise, has luxury beyond on belief with great sound system and a car that rides on a cloud .. The Lacrosse I had was amazing I loved it but I really want to join the Lexus ES Family but I am concerned as I have heard multiple people say the ride is no longer Lexus quiet and smooth as they have adjusted the suspension and also the tire noise is an issue ...Your thoughts? 3) I test drove the new Cadillac ATS the other day and that care is awesome and the Bose sound system is amazing ... How does the sound system in the ES compare or not necessarily compare but how great is the sound sysem? 4) The ATS rides so smooth and it is a sport sedan so I am hoping the ES rides even smoother ...
