  1. The place that installed mine in Tampa put my single din headunit in the center of the old gap, and cut a piece that fit around it and fill the gap. I will post a pic when I get home later. They didn't do a very good job, the piece is basically just sitting in the gap, they just made it slightly bigger than the hole so the flexible plasic is just jammed in there.
  2. Guess I'll just change the fluid and live with it, hell I still have a few months of warranty left!
  3. My SC4 lets out a pretty noticable thump from park into drive or reverse, and vice versa, but only does it from time to time. Anyone else experience this? The car was at the dealership to fix the infamous power steering pump, and they also replaced a worn tranny mount, but said nothing about anything else. Just wondering if this is common. Thanks!!
  4. Before I take my door panels off, does anybody know how the tweets in a 95 SC400 with the Nak system are wired? Are they inline with the door speakers, and just filtered, or are they on their own channels? Thanks in advance!
  5. So I buy a 95 SC4 with 89k on it, for a good price. AFTER all of the paperwork is signed, I'm picking the car up from detailing, and the previous owner (who was also the finance manager at the dealership) tells me that the power steering pump is leaking, and he'll get it fixed for free (At Nissan). They fix it, and it starts leaking again. I call the dealership, and they advise me that I should just take it to Lexus, which will be covered by my extended warranty that I purchased. Ha! First off, the warranty company tells Lexus my warranty is invalid, since the car is over 8 years old. After some sweet talking, they tell me they will repair it, BUT they will only pay for the p/s pump. After I read their own contract to them, they realize the reservoir is covered too, which apparently was bad also, along with a $500 hose. Lexus wanted 2500 to replace the pump, reservoir, and a couple of hoses, but the warranty company would only cover 600 bucks of that...what a load of bs. Long story short, don't ever buy a QualityGuard plus extended warranty! If I wasn't leaving for Afghanistan soon, I would be kicking some !Removed! at the dealership where I bought the car (Courtesy Nissan Tampa)!
  6. I'm looking to upgrade the exhaust on my 95 Sc400 also. I've done searches, but it seems there is not one particular setup that people recommend. I've heard about losing low end, and what diameter pipe to use. So what's the real deal? I want to do this before I head overseas (military). Are those magnaflow's pretty easy for the muffler shops to work with?
