  1. Check your user manual for the bulb type and change to Silverstars, thats what I'm doing....
  2. See the Intake kit's filter review. Blitz isn't very good, I'm going to try to go toward the Apexi intake.
  3. Too bad they didn't compair the Injen filters.... I haven't been able to find the apexi intake for the gen 1 GS300, but I have found one for the 93-98 Supra. However It says its for the twin turbo (2jzgte engine, not the 2jzge) would this make much of a difference? Considering the Injen intake doesn't fix exactly I was thinking of getting the apexi one. Besides the apexi intake is cheaper than the injen one.
  4. I found a review for different induction kit's filters on the clublexus forum. http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/index.html
  5. Has anyone had any experience with the Blitz SUS Power Intake? I am looking for a review.
  6. Some people might want to get the car for $700 cheaper, and spend that money installing an aftermarket body kit anyways...
  7. Could you give me a step by step process? Is the fuel filter on the right side of the engine? Kind of half way down? Whats the part # for it?
  8. What do you think of these products? http://www.spiralmax.com/ http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...me=STRK:MEWA:IT http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...sspagename=WDVW
  9. overboost.com has the INJEN IS2083P for only $187.20 I have a 94 GS300, and the INJEN IS2083P is the only intake that I can find on the internet for it. I have also read somewhere that I need to to have a modified ECU or a piggyback ECU to be able to use an aftermarket intake. Is that true, or can I just get the above mentioned intake with out any other mods?
  10. Generally upgrading my car, and since I need new rotors/pads anyways, I figured I should go aftermarket now on the brakes/rotors rather than buying OEM now then going aftermarket later, and save a little $. I'm not going to be racing if that is what you mean. Thanks for all the comments. I'll look into going just drilled rather than slotted and save $ on replacing pads down the road...
  11. I did do some searches on this site, but there were mostly like: "buy this" without an explanation. I just wanted to hear from people who have used these things to tell me their opinion on their performance and if they had any problems. In one post I read that the slotted rotors sqeaked, but then the guy applied some anti-squeak stuff and it was ok. also someone else said that the slotted rotors wear down your brake pads faster that oem or drilled rotors. That is the kind of info that I'm looking for.
  12. I would like to get some Drilled and Slotted Rotors but I heard that the slots make them sqeak. Should I get just Drilled rotors? Also, what are some good brake pads? Kevlar, ceramic, Greenstuff, Metal masters? WHat are the pros, cons, etc...
  13. Tried to use that wire harness TURBO recommended, didn't work. The pwr comes in through the blue plug so I need that. I'm going to try the other recommended wire harness kit..... If that doesn't work I'll get a wire diagram... if that doesn't work I'm going to scream and shout and then rewire my car...
  14. What about the wires that don't have a corresponding color? Dark Blue on RCA wire harness No Dark Blue on CD player wire harness. Orange w/ white stripe on the CD player harness, none on the RCA wire harness. I do know that the orange w/white stripe is supposed to be for illumination. I have no idea what the Dark Blue wire on the RCA wire harness if for; its not the remote i don't think, the remote wire on the CD player harness is Light Blue w/ white stripe, and there IS one of those on the RCA wire harness. Also I have plugs for a subwolfer on my CD player but nothing to connect it to...
  15. Yes thats it. does any one have a audio wiring diagram for a 1994 GS00? I have a diagram for the harness that connects to the CD Player, now I just need to know what wire is what for the car's harnesses.
  16. The wire harness that Turbo said I should use: RCA plugs: White Grey Purple Aqua Green Wires: Black Red Yellow Dark Blue Light Blue with White Stripe The wire harness that attaches to my aftermarket CD Player: Wires: Black Red Yellow Orange with White Stripe White with Black Stipe Blue with White Stripe(remote output only tag attached) White Aqua Green Purple Aqua Green with Black Stripe Purple with Black Stripe Grey Grey Black Stripe How would you suggest I connect this? My CD player does have RCA plugs.
  17. it wont allow me to attach the pic of the other plug. If you scroll back up to the pic of the back of my stock radio, that is what the plugs that I think I need would look like. I'm still going to fiddle with the wire harness that Turbo said would work. Turbo: Do you know what the extra blue plug is for, if all I need to do is hook into the white one with that harness you recommended?
  18. Ok, I've got that one, I guess I can take it apart again and see if I can make it work...
  19. I already have that harness and it does fit onto one of my cars harnesses, but I need a 2 plug wire harness. I have a stock radio(with out the cd player). here is a pic of the back of my stock radio and what the wire harness plugs I need should look like. I don't know how to delete my double post, but now I'm using them both....
  20. My Walmart only had a TA021, not a TA02. The TA021 said it could be used for a lexus LX-something. I think that was the only TA they had... I guess I could call them during my lunch break. The wire harness that you are recommending-have you used it before for a GS300? I attached the pic of the back of the stock radio. I just want to make sure because I have already bought 2 wire harnesses so far, and I want to make sure the next one I get is the correct one.
  21. That looks like the right one! I'll check with walmart, or if they don't have it I'll order it online! Thanks!
  22. My 1994 Lexus GS300 has a stock radio(without cd player), and I am trying to install an aftermarket CD player. I have an aftermarket CD player, I have a dash intall kit, but I don't have the proper wire harness. There are 2 plugs in the car that attach to the stock radio, I have a 1 plug wire harness(with RCA) that fits one of the plugs but doesn't have the proper pin out. I just got a 2 plug wire harness from ebay, but those plugs do not fit. Does anyone know of a wire harness that will work? Or the correct pin out so that I can connect the CD player harness to the correct wire in the car? I can post the pics of the car's wire plugs later, I don't have my camera on me right now.
