Hey Paul, I did go to the dealer to find an answer, and they are the one's who told me about the rear seats not being in the upright position..I did recall that the time did this occur, i was driving with the seats down transporting cargo..thanks for your input.

while driving, speed does not matter, i was getting a loud warning beep, no dash indicators...Found out this will occur if you are driving with the rear seat/seats in the down/transport position..There is nothing in the Owners Book to let you be aware of this..Want to share this with RX world...

That weird space under the center console is used for time-out .. the kids hate it...LOL

Per owners manual, there is two buttons on the hatch, left button opens hatch, right button locks hatch.

CPO is 3yrs/100,000 miles free warranty, bumper to bumper..The start date for this warranty is your date of purchase, not date of car in service..

A Lexus CPO (Certified Pre-owned) you cant loose..I have a RX and ES both CPO..With CPO you get 3yrs/100,000 miles, free warranty..

I totally agree with you..Lexus paint is soft..The front bumper of the RX cant take hiway debri of any kind..You look at it long enough and the paint begans to melt..I only do xway driving as second choice..handwash is all i have done or do myself....

Hey Jim, i check 2 things when it comes to extend warranty. how much do you drive per year n how long are going to keep the car..If you are a hi-miler driver n plan on keeping the car for 5 yrs or more, extended warranty is your best investment...this will give you peace of mind n keep your hands clean...lol
