replacing the under the car was a nightmare, the bad o2 had to be torched off then the manifold had to be rethreaded dont attempt this unless you have a lift and torch

I dont get it, they think because you drive lexus you should pay $200 a sensor? where can I pick a pair up for a reasonable price?

The car is a 00' rx with 40k on it. My Check Engine light comes on intermitinly with codes 1130 , 1150 and 0171, In searching this site I find that the manifold o2's seem to be the problem. (i cleaned the MAF wires) Does it sound right to pay $200+ for an o2 and that both have to be replaced? I mean its quite a bit of cheddar for o2 sensors. can they be cleaned?

I noticed my brake light on the dash comes on and chimes once from time to time then goes off, the rear brakes are getting low, not making noice yet. does the light go on when the pads are low? Can I get pads at autozone for my rx?

so the part that goes bad is in which door? I thought it was a hidden fuse or relay thats the culprit The switch (it used to be a plunger type switch on older cars at the door hinge) that controls the interior lights is inside the door panels. Evidently this switch is either sticking or went bad. My 99 RX does the same thing intermittently. This has been discussed on this forum before, but I don't remember how much it costs to replace. All I remember is that it's pricy. BTW, this switch is also connected to the automatic relock system on the car - if you haven't opened the door within 30 seocnds, it locks again. And don't do what my son did, he unlocked the door, set the keys on the seat, and closed the door. With the switch sticking, the doors relocked. ←

When I open any doors on my 00 rx the interrior lights wont come on, I looked at all the fuses and none are bad. The dome light does work when it is swiched on , any ideas?

Can I adjust or reset the ECU by disconnectiong the battery for a 10-20 minutes after I replace the stock with the K&N?

For $50 I guess why the hell not. I just wont spaz out with the oiling of the filter Does the K&N increase proformance or throttle responce ?

I was gonna upgrade to a K&N air filter in my 00 RX, does anyone know if there is improved gas milage or any resaons not to go K&N? thanks for any help

Forgot to add the car isnt flashing any codes

I have a 00 rx300 with 30k, I let the car sit for a month I go to start it and it clicks , I took the battery out and put it on a charger, it read 15v , So I charged it up. and the battery checked out good and held a charge. Now when I start it up I hit the gas and the car hesitates like its not getting gas or maybe a clogged fuel filter. After the car is hot it will accerate normally, any ideas whats causing the problem?
