Nice pics....What was your favorite car at the Arizona show? I looked at the best Ferrari's, Merc's, Bentley's, Spyker's, Bmw's, Audi's, Maserati, Lambo, Porchse, etc.. My favorite car at the show for the second year in a row is the Austin Martin Vanquish Convertable...However, the Ferrari F4 and Sportcar Bentley were a close second....

NO POWER (I just blew my tranny out yesterday, I am a little upset) I needed a tranny cooler and slacked....

I happen to be at the Los Angeles Auto Show when Lexus unvailed it's most powerful Lexus to date over the weekend...The IS-F Lexus, pretty nice and decently fast... A little eye candy for those IS lovers... Oh by the way it sounds like a jet engine on the Dyno rack.... 0-60mph in 4.6 seconds....

So what are you saying exactly? A Jeep Grand CHerokee transmission is compatible for swap into an Sc400? That would be awesome if true as I just blew my tranny out again for the second time just today...I need a stronger replacement tranny swap asap!!!

My advise to you is to fix that power steering leak asap if that is the culprit or else you'll burn out the next alterator as well... To fix the power steering leak you can try the POWER STEERING STOP LEAK bottles that you can buy at Pepboys...Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't but it may be worth the try... The right way to fix the power steering leak is to remove the power steering pump and have it rebuilt or replaced....

Would you believe that the stock Lexus battery in my 1992 Sc400 actually blew up on me a year ago...It sounded like a shotgun blast as the battery exploded under my hood during start up that morning.... It was swollen and low on water, turned the ignition on and then BOOOOOM....Scared the sheeet out of me... After the fact I opened the hood and all four battery sides were all pancaked out with no evidence of any inside battery guts... Just crazy... A little story for you guys.... I never knew batteries could explode until that experience...

Go with the BFI intake...It's free and requires just a few modifications with your stock intake design....Planetsoarer.com has the how to do it instructions for the BFI intake...Check it out.... I used the Rod Millen intake and injen intake snorkel tube...Spent $200 of more and it still does not outperforme the BFI intake....

It sounds like your battery is not getting a charge when the car is running...This would lead me to believe maybe your battery connections are loose, or something wrong with your alternator.... Are you experiencing a power steering leak? It is common knowledge over time the SC400's can begin to leak power steering fluid which unfortunately runs right onto the alternator, then the alternator fails.... Check that and your battery cables...
