  1. Yes I did see one of those, it helped a bit but not much detail provided. With flexible plastic parts you can't always determine how much flexing is required to mate parts together until you go too far and something snaps off. With rigid metal parts the interfaces are much easier to figure out.
  2. Managed to hit something on the passenger side that pulled the plastic bumper out a bit and disconnected it from the wheel well liner. Minor damage that I can probably fix myself but not sure how all these parts are supposed to connect. Looked at the other side for clues but also seeing several empty holes that maybe should have fasteners installed. Also even the undamaged drivers side has a surprising amount of looseness when you pull on it at the very bottom just behind the tire. Can anyone point me to a good video or assembly instructions that show what parts are involved and how they go together?
  3. This happens fairly regularly. I back the car out from the garage and while sitting on my driveway which slopes backward to the street I shift to Park waiting for the wife unit to join. When I try to shift out of Park, the stick feels locked then after applying about triple the force I ever had to for any other car, it releases with a "boom" sound. Seems to shift normally when not on an incline and I have no other problems with the tranny while driving. Anybody else have this or know if it is a sign of a pending problem?
  4. Yeah! I had an RX 350 as a loaner car today and noticed that same cheap looking fabric sheet between the steering wheel and dash. Weird and cheap looking for sure. Other than that, one heck of nice vehicle. BTW you can upgrade to the 2013 forum category now :-)
  5. Went to my neighborhood dealership today, a week before my 4 yr warranty expires. Excellent experience from beginning to end. Someone there to meet you right when you drive up. I had only one consistent problem, pulsing of brake pedal and some shaking in front wheels when braking. Dealer put in new front pads and turned the warped rotors to fix this. Gave me an RX 350 as loaner for the day. When I picked up the car they had washed it AND added 10 gallons of gas to completely fill my tank! Gotta love that!
